Privacy Policy

Uploaded files

CSV files and XML invoices you upload are processed in memory solely to produce the conversion or validation result you requested. They are not written to disk, stored, or used for any other purpose, and are gone when your request completes. Invoice data inside your files (names, addresses, VAT numbers, bank details) is processed only in this transient way, with you as its controller.

What we do store

If you buy credits or a subscription we store: the license key, its credit balance or subscription status, and the Paddle transaction/subscription identifiers needed to honour your purchase. We do not receive or store your card details. Our payment provider Paddle acts as merchant of record and processes your name, email, payment details and billing country under its own privacy policy.

Technical data

Our web server keeps short-lived standard access logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. We use no analytics trackers and no advertising cookies. The only thing kept in your browser is your license key (localStorage), so the converter recognises you — remove it by clearing site data.

Where data lives

The service runs on servers operated by Hetzner Online GmbH in Nuremberg, Germany (EU). Checkout data is processed by Paddle in accordance with their policy.

Your rights

Under UK/EU data protection law you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold (practically: your license record and any support correspondence). Email support@einvoiceconverter.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to your supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO).
