Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 July 2026
1. The service
einvoiceconverter.com ("we", "us") provides an online tool that converts invoice data from CSV files into structured electronic invoices (XRechnung / UBL 2.1 / UN-CEFACT CII / Peppol BIS formats) and validates electronic invoices against the EN 16931 rule sets. The validator is free. Conversion is free for small batches (currently up to 3 invoices per upload) and otherwise requires credits or an active subscription.
2. Payments
Paid plans are sold through our reseller and merchant of record, Paddle, who handle checkout, payment processing, invoicing and applicable VAT/sales tax. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms. Prices shown on our homepage are the prices charged at checkout (plus tax where Paddle is required to add it).
3. Credits, subscriptions and license keys
One credit converts one invoice. Credits are tied to the license key issued after purchase and do not expire. Your license key is shown once after checkout and stored in your browser — keep a copy; we cannot identify or restore lost keys without your Paddle receipt (contact us and we will restore a key from a valid transaction reference). Subscriptions renew monthly via Paddle until cancelled and can be cancelled anytime, taking effect at the end of the paid period.
4. Your content
Files you upload are processed in memory to perform the conversion or validation you requested and are not stored on our servers after your request completes. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the invoice data you upload and for verifying converted output before sending it to counterparties or authorities.
5. No warranty; limitation of liability
We validate output against the official EN 16931 and XRechnung rule sets, but we do not warrant that generated invoices will be accepted by any particular recipient, platform or tax authority, and the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the service unlawfully, attempt to disrupt it, or resell it without our agreement. We may suspend keys obtained fraudulently (e.g. chargeback abuse).
7. Changes and termination
We may update these terms and the service; material changes will be posted on this page. If we ever discontinue the service, unused credits purchased in the preceding 12 months will be refunded via Paddle.
8. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Contact: support@einvoiceconverter.com.
