Why it happens
Document-level allowances (BT-107) or charges (BT-108) were applied to the total but not declared in the document, or were declared with the wrong sign.
How to fix it
BT-109 must equal BT-106 − BT-107 + BT-108 exactly. If you discount at document level, declare the allowance group rather than silently reducing the total.
